Kitchen Table - For Sale

This kitchen table was made entirely from reclaimed Barn Boards. Its not completely finished yet but I was getting excited with how it was turning out. The top still needs a couple coats of varnish. Whenever you make any type of furniture from this kind of material it takes on a personality of its own. The table was sanded enough but not to much so that the woods character remained intact. The top of the table was finished with 2 coats of Epoxy and then the whole table got a few coats of varnish. This table was not only fun to build but to look at. Enjoy!

Coffee Table - Sold

This coffee table has lovely tones in the wood with a beautiful copper finish. The entire piece was made from reclaimed barn boards. In the photos below you can see the legs of the table were notched together and secured with a threaded rod making the table very sturdy. The legs were then bolted to the table top and covered by copper plugs made flush with the surface. The table was edged with copper with a tie on each end leaving a crisp finish. Varnish was used to seal the table and bring out the beautiful tones in the wood. This is a very unique piece using copper to accent the warm colouration of the barn boards.

TV Table - For Sale

This piece was designed with reclaimed barn boards for the top as well as the bottom shelf. The remainder of the unit is made with pine wood which has been finished with white paint and sanded to give it an antique look. The top shelf is divided into three sections and a hole was cut into the back of each section for any cables that need to be plugged into the TV or an outlet. The bottom shelf is hinged so it flips down for additional storage. The sides have been notched in as you can see in the photographs below. The finished product is a very clean design with some rustic textures and character.
